Music effects on the brain
Read about the benefits of music and its effects that significantly enhance the brain. Music classes are often cut when school budgets get tight, this is a mistake.

Piano is my main instrument and have been playing for 38 years and teaching for 25. I have a K-12 teaching B.A. from University of St. Francis and M.B.A. student of Lewis University. I have taught music in school class rooms as well as privately tutored. I find music helps students to focus and listen this helps improve their learning and comprehension skills. Being able to play a  musical instrument is an academic discipline that a student can carry with them all their lives.
