Bristol Grove Music is owned and operated by professional musicians
who are committed to sharing their background and experience with their
students and customers. We believe that music studies are an important part
of the education of our children. This often leads to better performance in
other areas of academic study. Music programs develop teamwork, teach
students how to set reasonable goals and to work towards them in a timely
fashion. Public performance often builds up self-confidence and installs a
lifelong love of music.
Bristol Grove offers repair service and provides private lessons in our
newly renovated studios 6 days per week. We also stock accessories, books
and supplies that are used in area schools.
Our greatest strength has been our private lesson program which has
served the community since 1992. During this time, we have received
considerable input from band directors and private teachers. In the past 18
years, we have taught hundreds of students to appreciate and love music.
Several of them have gone on to professional careers in education and
performance.
Bristol Grove Music has been an active supporter of the local Easter
Seals Telethon and provided several vocal performers for recent programs. We
are long-time supporters of local community groups such as Joliet Drama
Guild, Main street Plainfield, Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra and
Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
